At this month's meeting we recognized those veterans 80 and over in our midst. The two with their hands up are over 90! You guys led the way, now it's time for us to step up and take the reins of the Post. Thank-you!

Good group of VFW 2667 Riders that rode over to the WW Jones Cookout at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville. We visited with the veteran residents, helped with the cookout, and enjoyed a beautiful ride. Great Day. Thanks to American Legion Riders 57 (and a Bomber Girl) for participating as well.
Jeff Carroll of Newnan, GA, was elected Junior Vice Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of Georgia on June 18, 2017 at the VFW's Georgia State Convention held in Macon.
Jeff is a U.S. Air Force veteran and moves into a formal leadership position in the state VFW. He is a past Post commander of VFW Post 2667 where he led the Post to All-State and All-American honors.
He is also a past District 5 commander where he led the District to All-State and All-American honors. He has served as the Department Chief-of-Staff and Department Judge Advocate.
Congratulations to everyone who helped make this honor possible. You all rock! VFW Post 2667 (that's us) has once again be recognized as an All-State Post for 2016-2017.
Commander John Skinner and Quartermaster Bob Ward were also recognized as Co-Captains of the All-State team! They wear the hats but the Post is being recognized. Great job!
